Nestling at the waters edge of the picturesque Kilchattan Bay at the southern end of the Isle of Bute, St Blane's is a family owned & run licensed hotel. This beautifully quiet location, looking across the Firth of Clyde, to views of the Ayrshire coast and Cumbrae Isles, is ideal for those people wanting to just relax and have a quiet life.

The hotel, a 19th century listed building, is situated at the start of the 'West Island Way' making it an ideal base for walkers wishing to take on the challenge of these scenic circumnavigational walks. The island boasts an abundance of wildlife both on the island and the surrounding shores. The hotel courtesy minibus can be booked for drop-off or pick-up at various points on the island.

All bedrooms are en-suite, and include tea and coffee making facilities plus multi-channel 'FreeView' colour TV. Most have stunning sea views. "Wireless Internet" facilities are available throughout the hotel in both the bedrooms and public areas.

Public rooms include a large dining room, fully licensed bar with draught beers and large malt whisky selection and a residents TV lounge. Lunch, afternoon teas and evening meals are served daily in the bar. The menu comprises of home made soups, traditional dishes, daily specials and light snacks. We also cater for vegetarians.

Six moorings, owned by the hotel, are available to visiting yachtsmen. Close by are golf, bowling and horse riding facilities. Fishing at Loch Fad or cycling can also be arranged.
